This one turns out to be a crawfish jambalaya rice cooker recipe. The recipe is ideal for anyone in a rush as all you have to do is drop the ingredients into the rice cooker and turn it on. Way simple, way easy way tasty!

You can see the new cajun rice cooker recipe here:

The Cajun Way of Cooking http://www.hotcajunrecipes.com/blog/the-cajun-way-of-cooking/ http://www.hotcajunrecipes.com/blog/the-cajun-way-of-cooking/#comments Sat, 12 Mar 2011 17:32:19 +0000 Charlie Thibodeaux http://www.hotcajunrecipes.com/blog/?p=10

Check out this video.  It gives a somewhat biased sense of what Cajun Cooking is like and what it means to Louisiana families.  While the Swamp People may live this life, it is still applicable to many Louisiana residents.  We don’t all catch our own frogs, crawfish, shrimp, etc, but the sense of family and sharing depicted in the video is very true to the Cajun culture.

Swamp People is definitely a hit here in southern Louisiana.  It shows the wild side of our area while showing real people doing an amazingly dangerous job.  The History Channel is playing promos for the second season so hopefully it will be as entertaining and informative as it was last season.
